An unusual case of lymphoepithelial cyst of palatine tonsil

Amongst the various cystic lesions of oral cavity, Lymphoepithelial cyst (LEC) is a rare lesion that presents as an asymptomatic submucosal mass and usually discovered during routine examinations. Most common site occurence floor mouth but tonsillar involvement seems to be very rare. Pathogenesis involves excessive accumulation desquamated epithelial lining in crypt. This results dilated obstructed crypt palatine tonsil region which lesion. Here we are reporting case 17 year old female with lymphoepithelial tonsil.
